Human Practices Co-Leader / Advisor

- Elected by team members as a co-leader of the Human Practices division for the 2020 Korea_HS iGEM team


- Facilitated outreach events such as creating forms and surveying over 170 people from 10 different countries


- Educated other high school and middle school students about therapeutic antibodies, helping to raise awareness of their importance in cancer treatments


- Participated in the presentation process in the giant jamboree hosted online, interacting with various judges and other high school/collegiate teams. Proactively participated in the wet lab conducted at the University of Seoul under Prof. Jungwoo Choe and researched about using a foreign RAS protein (scFv8) to target cells, ultimately designing a hyperstable antibody with cell-penetrating peptide for intracellular targeting



- Invited by the 2022 Korea_HS iGEM team to participate as an advisor; helped the team to devise a method to ensure stability of DNA for DNA data storage and completed a research project titled “A Novel Digital Data Storage Model: TFAM-DNA Packaging Architectural Role for the Stability of DNA” under Professor Woo Rin Lee


- Advised the team specifically on human practices, education, and outreach, helping with posters, surveys, or educational visits, and also trained the team for their Grand Jamboree judging session that was hosted at Paris Expo - Porte de Versailles
